Who We Are

The sonnevera team is led by Christina Seidel, P.Eng., one of Alberta's leading experts in waste reduction. Christina holds a PhD in Engineering Management, a Masters Degree in Environmental Design (Environmental Science), as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to her vast knowledge and experience, Christina delivers an honest, down-to-earth approach and hands-on operational expertise which are greatly appreciated by managers and operational personnel alike. Christina has spoken across Canada and internationally on waste issues and is also well-known for her project management and facilitation abilities.

Lindsay Seidel-Wassenaar, P.Eng., is a project lead at sonnevera and has experience working with municipalities on solid waste management and reduction projects. She previously led the Strategic Planning & Policy team at Waste & Recycling Services for The City of Calgary. Lindsay has strong project management and well-developed facilitation skills. She has a true passion for waste reduction and enjoys providing tailored solutions for municipalities and ICI clients.

The sonnevera team also has access to a varied pool of experts from all areas of the waste reduction field, as well as top qualified professionals in fields such as survey design and stakeholder consultation.
